Job Summary
Manage designated operation areas by coordinating manufacturing activities with materials, production planning, and engineering to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals. Enforce GMPs, safety policies, and work methods while ensuring products are produced safely, wholesomely, and cost-effectively. Collaborate with the Production Manager to establish operating policies, approve labor requests, and report deviations or schedule obstacles immediately. Maintain departmental standards across food safety, quality, and material control functions while submitting all required reports within specified timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and procedures
- Knowledge of material control, utilization and maximization
- Appropriate and effective administration of all personnel safety, food safety, quality procedures and guidelines
- Working knowledge of various regulatory requirements, as well as requirements set forth by customers
- Ability to set forth goals and objectives associated with continuous improvement
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
- Certifications in Food Safety are preferred
