Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end manufacturing of skids by managing material handling for stainless steel and PVC, optimizing machining parameters, and supervising TIG welding and assembly. Direct a team of eight operators through daily scheduling, cross-training, and performance reviews while enforcing strict safety protocols and quality standards against blueprint specifications. Coordinate workflow from raw materials to final delivery to ensure production deadlines are met and equipment maintenance is maintained.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience
- 5+ years in a supervisory or team lead role managing direct reports
- Proven experience fabricating, machining, and welding/joining stainless steel and PVC plastic
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Conflict resolution skills
- Small team management skills
- Ability to stand and walk the shop floor for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, or reach
