Job Summary
Oversees and facilitates production operations for assigned area, manages production teams, coordinates production schedules, assigns responsibilities, prepares schedules, and coaches employees. Ensures optimum material and supply flow to maintain GMP and SQDC compliance. Reviews production schedules and attendance data, interprets daily production plans for associates, and leads daily cell meetings. Drives execution of operational plans to meet quality, safety, and KPI targets, identifies bottlenecks, and implements countermeasures. Supports development of standardized work and leadership development within the team, serving as a liaison between associates and management through changes.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of supervisor experience
- 3-5 years in manufacturing/warehousing
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience in Lean manufacturing principles, tools, and applications
- Applicable knowledge of performance management methods
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop talent
- Demonstrated ability to employ process problem solving tools to determine root cause and implement countermeasures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict
- Demonstrated ability to execute against production playbooks
- Effective oral and written communication
