Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee daily manufacturing operations in a startup environment focused on precision metals production. Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) targets while mentoring frontline employees and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Lead shift activities, optimize workflows in real time, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance on uptime and process improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field (or equivalent) and 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing (preferably metals or machining). Skills include lean tools, root cause analysis, 5S, Six Sigma, and strong analytic/communication capabilities. The role supports production in aerospace-grade nickel-based superalloys for investment casting and additive manufacturing and is located in Temple, Texas. This is a salaried, full-time position with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, preferably metals or machining
- Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and manage production demands under pressure
- Solid knowledge of safety protocols, quality systems, and manufacturing equipment
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software tools
