Job Summary

Supervise and lead daily munitions assembly operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. Communicate daily production objectives, priorities, and performance expectations to the team while monitoring activities and providing regular updates to management. Ensure efficient operation of advanced manufacturing processes, optimize productivity, and hold employees accountable for established work procedures. Coach, mentor, and develop team members through training, feedback, and performance management, while supporting recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires. Champion the Saab 6S program to maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Review and manage employee timekeeping and attendance records daily and weekly.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime or alternate shifts, as needed to support production demands and customer commitments

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a munitions manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • experience in advanced manufacturing is preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in advanced manufacturing, Aeronautics, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and align teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, by example, motivate teams, and build positive, productive working relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
