Job Summary
Supervise and lead daily munitions assembly operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. Monitor production activities, review timekeeping records, and communicate daily objectives to the team while coaching, mentoring, and developing employees. Champion the Saab 6S program to maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with all policies and FOD prevention practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and empower teams to meet key performance indicators. This role requires a U.S. citizen with a Secret security clearance and at least five years of supervisory experience in munitions manufacturing. Compensation ranges from $80,900 to $101,100, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and tuition assistance. Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a munitions manufacturing environment
- Experience in advanced manufacturing
- Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment
- Associate or bachelor's degree in advanced manufacturing, Aeronautics, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Experience in using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and align teams to achieve organizational goals
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, by example, motivate teams, and build positive, productive working relationships
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime or alternate shifts, as needed to support production demands and customer commitments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
