Job Summary
Supervise and lead daily munitions assembly operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. Communicate daily objectives, priorities, and performance expectations to the team while monitoring activities and providing regular updates to management. Optimize productivity and resource utilization by championing the Saab 6S program to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment. Coach, mentor, and develop team members through training, feedback, and performance management while holding employees accountable for established work processes. Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new production team members, and review, approve, and manage employee timekeeping and attendance records. Collaborate effectively with production leadership, cross-functional teams, and support departments to resolve issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a munitions manufacturing environment
- Experience in advanced manufacturing
- Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment
- Associate or bachelor's degree in advanced manufacturing, Aeronautics, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Experience in using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and align teams to achieve organizational goals
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, by example, motivate teams, and build positive, productive working relationships
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime or alternate shifts, as needed to support production demands and customer commitments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
