Job Summary
Supervise and lead daily munitions assembly operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. Communicate daily production objectives, priorities, and performance expectations to the team while monitoring activities and providing regular updates to management. Coach, mentor, and develop team members through training, feedback, and performance management, holding employees accountable for established work processes. Empower teams to achieve key performance indicators and support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new production team members. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and Foreign Object Debris prevention practices while championing the Saab 6S program. Collaborate effectively with production leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve issues, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and manage employee timekeeping and attendance records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a munitions manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment
- Associate or bachelor's degree in advanced manufacturing, Aeronautics, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required
- Experience in using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and align teams to achieve organizational goals
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, by example, motivate teams, and build positive, productive working relationships
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime or alternate shifts, as needed to support production demands and customer commitments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen

Desired Qualifications
