Job Summary
Monitor associates, answer questions, and report daily efficiencies while setting priorities for daily loads. Inform maintenance of equipment issues, move staff between jobs as needed, and help train new hires or those being cross-trained. Report safety issues and product quality concerns to the Production Manager, and sit in on counseling or termination meetings as a witness. Cover jobs during absenteeism and look for ways to improve facility efficiencies. Requires ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds, plus strong math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and proprietary software.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to stand all day while working at a fast pace
- Ability to walk, bend, crouch, and lift. Use of leg, back and arm muscles.
- Will involve some lifting (usually less than 50 pounds)
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Highly competent in math and statistics
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and use of proprietary software
Desired Qualifications
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience is a plus
