Job Summary
Supervise hourly plant employees on the graveyard shift (10:30 pm–7:00 am) by reviewing prior shift status, tracking production metrics against plans, and resolving equipment or process disruptions. Implement the production plan while maintaining compliance with GMPs, sanitation, HACCP, and FDA/OSHA standards. Coach performance, coordinate shift communications, and deliver on-the-job training to support continuous improvement and standard work. Confirm line setup for the next crew and pass clear documentation to ensure seamless handoffs. This role balances staffing needs and keeps the workplace safe while driving productivity goals at Tree Top's Ross Plant.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of food processing experience
- prior supervision in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of food manufacturing concepts
- Knowledge of food safety/quality systems
- Knowledge of applicable federal/state/local laws
- Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills
- basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
- Must be available for graveyard shift (10:30 pm–7:00 am)
- Must be able to work onsite
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
