Job Summary
Production Supervisor responsible for overseeing Production Leads, ensuring timely completion of production, quality, assembly, testing, repair, and overhaul of customer-owned products, and providing support to field services and after-market warranty. Responsibilities include attendance and productivity tracking, annual performance evaluations, on-time assembly, collaboration with engineering and quality teams to optimize processes, material and labor estimation for overhaul/repair, maintaining safety, cross-training staff, maintaining facilities and equipment, test monitoring, material requisitions, and guiding production staff through meetings and performance management. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent with five years of supervisory manufacturing experience; proficiency in reading drawings and manuals; welding experience preferred to Mil-Std-278/248; U.S. citizenship or qualifying status and potential security clearance; excellent communication and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, Certificate from a technical or trade school or equivalent and/or combination of education and work experience.
- Five years supervisory experience in manufacturing of mechanical devices.
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings, schematics, and operating manuals.
