Job Summary
Production Supervisor will supervise the welding team performing warehouse functions at an OEM manufacturing center, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the manufacturing process while leading and managing a team of production. Core functions include team leadership (training, performance reviews, effective communication), overseeing production activities and equipment maintenance, enforcing OSHA safety standards, quality control (defect identification and corrective actions), safety and compliance, warehouse material flows (inbound/outbound, put-away, picking, shipping, replenishment, waste handling), inventory control (cycle counts, E&O coordination, accuracy), and process improvement (identifying efficiency opportunities, implementing new technologies). The role requires 4+ years in a warehouse environment, 1+ year leading a warehouse team, OSHA-compliant MHE certifications, proficiency with Excel and warehouse systems, ability to interpret safety and operating documents, and strong communication skills; Spanish fluency is highly desired. The position is onsite in Mesquite, TX, with RealTruck’s compensation and benefits package as described in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- 1+ year of experience leading a warehouse team
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, or a related field preferred
- OSHA compliant MHE certifications based on plant equipment with continued renewal as per regulations
- MS Office, especially Excel
- Working knowledge in order processing systems and warehouse management systems
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures
- Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively to groups of employees
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in standard and non-standard situations
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desired
