Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Effectively communicate with a team to continuously improve quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity while maintaining a safe work environment. Schedule production for the department, coordinate requirements with other departments, and supervise up to 30 hourly employees. Adjust workforce based on workload, troubleshoot and solve production problems, and evaluate efficiency to drive Lean initiatives. Follow company policies covering safety, quality, discipline, and human resources. Some extended hours and weekends are required. This role supports PSC Industries' leadership in the fabricating industry through extensive die cutting equipment and advanced technology research.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must submit to a Drug Screening and Background
- Some extended hours & weekends as necessary
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory & Quality experience is a plus
- Proficiency in basic math skills
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and written
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of machinery and packaging equipment a plus
- Demonstrate an understanding of Quality Systems (i.e. ISO9001)
- Good decision-making skills
- 5-S & Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
- Proficiency using Measurement Tools (i.e., Tape Measure, Digital Calipers, etc.)
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
