Job Summary
Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift in Romulus, MI leading a workforce of approximately 15 to 25 unionized employees. Coordinate production flow, ensure Health, Safety & Environment practices, meet daily production demands with focus on quality and safety, coach and discipline staff, problem-solve with other departments, and ensure compliance with the Collective Agreement and Plant Rules. Requires a Bachelor degree and 3-5 years in manufacturing operations, with automotive quality knowledge and willingness to work weekends and off-shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent training
- 3-5 years of production related activity in Manufacturing Operations
- Ready to work a 3rd Shift
- Solid understanding of automotive quality requirements
- Knowledge of HSE, Collective Agreements and manpower planning
- Able to work weekends and off-shifts
