Job Summary
The Production Supervisor will lead and motivate a shift to meet the production schedule and develop production team members into an efficient unit. Responsibilities include ensuring QA procedures, GMPs, HACCP, and Food Safety policies are followed, addressing safety and quality concerns with Operations/Quality/Maintenance, maintaining a safe and secure facility, coaching and mentoring Team Members, optimizing shift performance, coordinating HR processes for hiring and retention, administering safety and performance policies, coordinating training, conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions per handbook, covering for others during absences, suggesting process improvements, reporting daily performance to plant leaders, and serving as back-up for the Production Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience supervising other employees
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Team-oriented personality
- Attentive to details and highly organized
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Well-developed sense of personal initiative
- Demonstrated history of logical decision making
