Job Summary
Production Supervisor overseeing packing house operations in Florida. Responsibilities include taking direct orders from the Production Manager, monitoring product inventory and adjusting production quantities, coordinating raw product flow from harvesting to the plant, tracking inventories, scheduling and daily assignments of VAP/Bunch personnel, notifying maintenance of mechanical needs, communicating information up and down the line, ensuring quality, safety and operational procedures are followed, and reporting inaccuracies to the Supervisor. Requires the ability to work long hours and weekends, and promotes teamwork and a positive atmosphere. Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; basic computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook). Relocation assistance offered. Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL, USA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) with basic math skills
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
- General computer skills including Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Previous experience in a packing house preferred
