Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing day-shift production team through structured coaching, performance feedback, and individualized development plans. Ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met by conducting daily safety audits, 5S inspections, and near-miss investigations to maintain a zero-incident culture. Plan labor, materials, and equipment needs while working cross-functionally with receiving, quality, and planning teams to streamline workflow. Track, analyze, and resolve manufacturing issues using data-driven insights to support continuous improvement and eliminate recurring barriers. Champion LEAN manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance efficiency while maintaining up-to-date work instructions and production documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Forklift certified or willing to become certified
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles
- Continuous improvement philosophy
