Job Summary
Oversee daily production activities and manage a team of workers to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety goals are met. Coordinate fabrication and assembly processes to optimize workflow, while supervising inventory management, shipping, and receiving to facilitate timely delivery. Conduct regular equipment inspections, implement safety protocols, and train new staff on machinery operations. Collaborate with warehouse personnel and other departments to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency. This role requires forklift operation, Spanish proficiency, and willingness to travel to customer locations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a production group leader or similar role within a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping and receiving practices, and supply chain logistics
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and quality control standards
- Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and manuals related to production operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Proficiency in analyzing production and logistics data to make informed decisions
- Ability to speak Spanish
- Must be able and willing to travel to customer locations
