Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead and supervise hourly production employees to safely achieve daily schedules, quality standards, and operational goals while optimizing machine performance and managing labor resources. Direct shift activities to maximize productivity, monitor performance metrics, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Champion safety compliance by enforcing policies, conducting inspections, and investigating incidents, while ensuring all products meet customer specifications through routine audits and root cause analysis. Coordinate staffing assignments, partner with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction and cost savings. Execute daily production reviews, maintain accurate documentation, and foster a collaborative team environment. Work the night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am in a high-volume packaging and containers manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within packaging, plastics, blow molding, injection molding, containers, or high-volume production
- Demonstrated experience leading production teams and achieving operational performance goals
- Experience working in environments focused on safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs including OEE, labor efficiency, scrap reduction, downtime, and throughput
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems or ERP software
- This position is for the night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
