Job Summary
Manage manufacturing employees daily activities including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and monthly safety training. Oversee shift operations with constant emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, and cost while monitoring production to eliminate waste and ensure adherence to shipping schedules. Control load factors, workflow, and materials to optimize capacity and minimize labor overtime, downtime, and repair expenses. Identify developmental needs of staff through coaching and mentoring, and perform administrative tasks such as timekeeping, absenteeism reporting, and equipment inspections. Assist with orientation of new employees and work in the best interest of the business by making decisions reflecting core values.

- Ability to assist on other shifts as needed

- Frequent walking
- Frequent lifting of items ranging in weight from 20 lbs. to 75 lbs.
- Frequent carrying of items ranging in weight from 20 lbs. to 75 lbs.
- Frequent bending and crouching
- Continuous full range of motion from above the shoulders to below the knees
- Knowledge of raw materials
- Knowledge of production processes
- Knowledge of quality control
- Knowledge of costs
- Knowledge of techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
