Production Supervisor

Job Summary

Promote a safety culture by enforcing NOV HSE policies, maintaining housekeeping standards, and ensuring compliance with ISO, API, and welding certifications. Investigate customer escapes and nonconformities to implement corrective actions, while generating and monitoring production schedules to eliminate job order variances. Coordinate resource allocation and material flow across all production stages, overseeing personnel activities including training, performance evaluations, and hiring. Collaborate with engineering teams to solve production problems, optimize tooling, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and cost. May participate in sales processes by providing cost information and leading plant tours.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or Supply Chain major) preferred
  • Technical Training and/or equivalent experience in a Machining and Manufacturing environment
  • APICS and/or LEAN / Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
  • willingness to obtain APICS and/or LEAN / Six Sigma Green Belt Certified if not certified
  • Experience with raw materials, machining processes, forgings and castings, and secondary operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and understanding of MRP System
  • May have to lift up to 50lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or Supply Chain major) preferred
  • Technical Training and/or equivalent experience in a Machining and Manufacturing environment will also be considered
  • APICS and/or LEAN / Six Sigma Green Belt Certified preferred
  • willingness to obtain APICS and/or LEAN / Six Sigma Green Belt Certified if not certified

  • Demonstrated ability to lead employees and department to achieve location goals, delivery schedule, and desired results in professional manner and compliant manner
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and present data in a concise manner
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and projects at the same time
  • Ability to review drawings, process routers, or procedures to identify and drive opportunities for quality and cost improvements
