Job Summary
Production Supervisor will drive manufacturing results by owning line performance, coordinating with maintenance, and leading shift teams to meet GMP, SQF, HACCP, and quality targets. Responsibilities include scheduling, training, changeovers, reducing downtime, enforcing safety standards, conducting daily shift meetings, and ensuring documentation and downtime records are maintained. Requires experience in a fast-moving beverage environment, forklift awareness/certification may be required, and ability to work nights on a 6pm-6am 2/2/3 schedule. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and ability to train staff are essential. The role may oversee specific plant areas (e.g., blow molding) and requires adherence to SOPs and production schedules. Education up to high school diploma required with preferred higher education in related fields; 3-5 years manufacturing/beverage experience preferred. SAP experience is a strong asset.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science, Business or related discipline preferred.
