Job Summary
Lead day-to-day production for multiple product lines while ensuring EHS, MOC, GMP, and Q.C. compliance. Drive safety initiatives by addressing root causes of near misses, conducting weekly safety meetings, and maintaining good housekeeping. Manage engineering projects, troubleshoot machine issues with operators using root cause analysis, and own the department's maintenance budget and work orders. Track mechanical and electrical downtime to ensure machines meet production goals. Work Mon-Fri 3:00pm-11:00pm with potential weekend and overtime requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing and/or food related industries
- Must be able to lift and move loads of a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders/stairs
- Must be able to work on elevated platforms
- Must be able to work in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to work in general office and manufacturing plant environments
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required and use full range of motion
- Must be able to work throughout plant environment of varied temperatures and humidity
- Must be available for weekend and overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in engineering, business, or related field
- 5 years of supervisor experience
- 5 years of manufacturing experience
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma Certification
- Lean Certification
- SAP Experience
