Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Direct production shift supervision for document scanning and paper-to-digital conversion projects, coordinating activities, quality control, and labor management to meet schedules and deadlines. Analyze production, quality control, and operational reports to identify nonconformities and revise schedules following equipment failures or operating problems. Supervise 2 to 15 employees, including temporary staff, by assigning duties, training, appraising performance, and enforcing safety regulations within a secure facility. Monitor inventory records, estimate worker hour requirements, and participate in monthly profitability reviews to adjust operations and maximize profits.
Required Qualifications
- 1 + year related experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business guidelines and technical procedures
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Working knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Adobe Acrobat
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 35-pound document boxes

Desired Qualifications
