Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Implement operational strategies to assure objectives in safety, productivity, quality, and profitability while accountable for key performance metrics. Prepare for project runs, assign production lines to Line Leads, and communicate daily goals regarding finished goods and revenue. Review First Articles, automate lines to increase efficiency, and support capacity planning for on-time delivery. Maintain a safe work environment by educating personnel on equipment use and ensuring assembly lines remain clean. Coordinate absent/vacation requests, review quality documentation, and provide guidance on staffing, training, and employee relations. Communicate shift changes to previous and next shifts, ensuring continuous coverage and proper handovers.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Must have demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Must have knowledge of GMP policies and procedures
- Ability to be proactive in disciplinary processes
- Ability to keep a strong bridge of communication between Production and the Quality, Inventory, and Logistics departments
- Ability to address employee concerns in a professional manner
- Ability to work extended shifts and weekends as needed
- Must be available via email and phone 24/7
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Ability to bend/stoop, squat, twist, push/pull, kneel and crouch repetitively
- Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs or more on a frequent basis
- Must be able to use your hands/fingers/arms in a repetitive motion for extended periods
- Occasional travel

- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS)
