Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Job Summary
Manage shop personnel and daily production activities, ensuring productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards are met. Direct employees through training on additive machines and post-processing equipment, while providing coaching and disciplinary action as needed. Maintain operational efficiency by analyzing issues, managing capacity via computer reports, and completing all Work/Transfer Orders and Non-Conformance Reports. Host daily production meetings to report on schedule status and coordinate inventory cycle counts. Enforce safety policies, PPE requirements, and clean work areas while performing assigned tasks such as machine operation. Report on production goals and assist with process improvements and cost reduction projects.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently
- Basic computer literacy skills
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work with little or no supervision
- Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively execute multiple competing projects at one time
- Cognitive skills include the ability to learn, to process thoughts and apply knowledge, to analyze and reason, and to evaluate and make appropriate decisions to achieve business goals and solve problems
- Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance
- Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment
- Wear the appropriate PPE when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.)
- Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day
Desired Qualifications
- One plus year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressure, and fast-paced environment
- Ability to comprehend production requirements
