Production Supervisor (Machining)

Job Summary
Lead a team of machining workers in a rotating-shift production environment at PT. Caterpillar Indonesia Batam; supervise daily activities of production lines, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between teams, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Prepare, maintain, and update documentation related to operating procedures and safety; create reports on production processes, tool issues, performance, and inventory; provide suggestions to improve safety, productivity, and quality. Drive continuous improvement through process improvement initiatives and collaboration with management. Requires a minimum engineering diploma with at least 3 years of supervisory experience in machining (CNC turning, milling, multitask operations); English proficiency and MS Office skills. Physical requirements include extensive active movement in the plant. Onsite five days a week; relocation is available domestically. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum diploma in engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in machining, including CNC turning operations, milling operations, and multitask operations
- Proficiency in speaking and writing in English
- Proficiency in operating Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to train new hires, manage scheduling, and monitor safety, and promote internal communication
