Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end breakfast cereal production across extrusion, drying, coating, and packing lines, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards. Monitor process parameters like moisture, temperature, and coating uniformity while maintaining batch records, line clearance reports, and daily shift logs. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores for raw material availability and compliance with GMP, GHP, and HACCP/FSSC protocols. Train operators and contract workers on process control, equipment handling, and hygiene standards. Identify process deviations or equipment issues and initiate corrective actions promptly to support waste reduction and cost optimization. Requires 3–4 years of experience in cereal extrusion or FMCG, with a B.Sc in Food Technology or related discipline.
Required Qualifications
- 3–4 Years (Breakfast Cereals / Extruded Food / FMCG Industry)
- B.Sc in Food Technology, Food Science, or Any Degree related discipline
- Hands-on experience in extrusion, baking, or roasting lines used in breakfast cereal manufacturing
- Good understanding of moisture control, coating systems, and product texture management
- Knowledge of food safety systems (FSSC 22000 / BRCGS) and documentation compliance
- Leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office / ERP for daily production reporting
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Willingness to work in shifts
