Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of an hourly production team for a single product line to ensure manufacturing operations run according to production specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Lead and train a 30+ person production team; drive safety, engagement, and a positive work environment; enforce operating systems for safety, environmental, quality, and process controls; monitor performance metrics related to product cost, material usage, machine downtime, and labor; coordinate with Maintenance and other departments; and manage labor reporting and payroll submissions. The role follows a 12-hour DuPont schedule with rotating shifts, requiring high school diploma and at least 3 years of operational leadership experience in manufacturing, along with strong communication, leadership, and SAP/ERP proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- minimum of 3 years of operational leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of production processes
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Working knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
- Ability to work 12 hour rotating shift – DuPont Schedule
- Strong leadership skills
- Must be physically able to perform essential job functions
