Job Summary
Production Supervisor responsible for supervising a 30+ person hourly production team on a single product line, ensuring operations meet production specifications, schedules, cost and wastage targets, and quality standards. Plan and schedule equipment utilization, drive employee engagement, train and direct staff, enforce safety guidelines, investigate root causes of scrap or quality issues, monitor KPIs for product cost and efficiency, and coordinate with other departments. Role requires leadership, compliance with OSHA and process controls, and ability to generate and submit labor and production reports; operates on a 12-hour rotating DuPont schedule with a focus on safety, productivity, and team performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years operational leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations
- strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- working knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
- ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts
- leadership and performance management experience
