Job Summary
Production Supervisor will oversee and manage production for all shift employees, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. Responsibilities include developing and coaching team members, enforcing standard work procedures, coordinating cross-functional collaboration with Processing, Maintenance, Shipping, and Quality, and managing scheduling to meet customer service and productivity goals. The role requires rotating 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, preparing work schedules, maintaining process and equipment knowledge, ensuring proper product identification and warehousing, troubleshooting issues, notifying maintenance of equipment problems, enforcing safety regulations, and completing required paperwork. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience supervising production teams
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software for reports/logs
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and food safety procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
