Job Summary
Production Supervisor leads daily poultry production operations on the floor, ensuring targets are met while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Responsibilities include organizing manpower, materials, and equipment; supervising and providing feedback to employees; fostering open communication and teamwork; collaborating with other departments to drive quality improvements and cost savings; and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Requires high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred), 1+ years of supervisory experience with 20+ direct reports preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. The role is schedule-driven (Monday–Friday with occasional weekends) in a Pilgrim’s production facility, with a focus on training, safety, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred
- 1+ years of supervisory experience with leadership skills overseeing 20+ employees preferred
- Poultry or food industry experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Effective communication (oral and written)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Basic computer knowledge
