Production Supervisor IV

Job Summary
Lead production teams in the Costa Rica – Alajuela site to achieve safety, quality, and production targets. Oversee personnel scheduling, discipline, coaching, staff selection and training, with a strong presence on the production line. Ensure compliance with internal/external regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, TUV, etc.), quickly communicate quality issues and participate in investigations and solutions. Develop and execute plans to meet production goals, including productivity, schedule adherence, cost, and service while maintaining a safe environment. Own the area of production, designing and implementing systems to monitor efficiency and compliance, and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, reduce cost, and boost overall team productivity. Provide HR-related information to staff, motivate teams to achieve high performance, and foster engagement.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Administration or related field
- 5-7 years supervisory experience
- Preferably in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or electronic industry
- Intermediate Command of English
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO and quality systems as FDA, MDD
- Desirable certification related to medical industry (e.g., CQE, 6Sigma black belt, lean coach)
- Flexibility to work on different shifts schedule and areas
