Job Summary
Direct staff for work assignments based on priority and lead by creating an engaged environment on the Night Shift. Ensure personnel execute job responsibilities while holding employees accountable to the employee handbook and performance processes. Manage attendance records, develop coverage plans with cell leaders, and report absent employees to restructure resources for maximum machine uptime. Onboard new team members through work instructions and training presentations, conducting 30/60/90 day reviews. Troubleshoot manufacturing bottlenecks, resolve material central feed system alarms, and enforce 5S activities. Communicate shift reports via email and meetings, manage inventory status in the ERP system, and participate in root cause analysis for product quality issues.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Leading and Holding Team Members accountable
- Willingness to hold themselves and others accountable for the roles and duties that have been assigned to them
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift 55 lbs
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (English)
- Good visual skills
- Reasoning ability
- Team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Technical experience with plastic injection molding
- Hands-on experience with raw materials
- Mold set-up experience
- Troubleshooting skills for material central feed systems
