Production Supervisor

Job Summary

Lead assigned shift operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and customer service objectives while optimizing labor, equipment, and production schedules. Monitor production performance, analyze operating metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve efficiency, reduce downtime and scrap, and maintain high-quality manufacturing processes. Champion a strong safety culture by promoting safe work practices, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, and driving a zero-incident mindset. Coordinate daily work assignments, shift transition meetings, material availability, and production reporting to support uninterrupted operations and informed decision-making. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, operating procedures, and documentation requirements while supporting audits and operational excellence initiatives. Lead, coach, and develop production employees through performance management, training, mentoring, cross-training, and succession planning initiatives. Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, and operational performance. Monday to Friday shift 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional weekends as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality practices in a manufacturing setting
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production performance metrics, and continuous improvement/lean principles
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and develop teams
  • Self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced production environment
  • Monday to Friday shift 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Occasional weekends as needed to support the production team
