Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Production Supervisor oversees 50-100 employees on the production line, including setup, testing and adjustment of line equipment, supervision of all production activities, coordination with quality control, staffing forecasts and training, reporting production results and downtime, and ensuring safety and policy compliance. Requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, familiarity with manufacturing software (Deacom is a plus), and the ability to manage personnel issues, safety programs, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- Two to four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of production practices and procedures, especially for food and personal care manufacturing
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Ability to practice any and all safety requirements and cautions
- Ability to use manufacturing software/systems; familiarity with Deacom, a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
