Job Summary

Lead the 2nd shift Injection Molding operation to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing of high-quality products. Direct supervision of molding technicians, operators, material handlers, and support personnel while driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and employee engagement objectives. Conduct daily safety observations, lead incident investigations, and implement preventive actions to foster a strong safety culture. Manage daily production activities across molding presses and secondary operations, ensuring schedules are met against established KPIs. Monitor performance, coordinate staffing, and lead shift handoffs. Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and quality system requirements by driving adherence to approved processes and partnering on CAPAs and nonconformance resolutions. Provide coaching, performance management, and regular one-on-one meetings to develop a high-performing workforce. Drive productivity, scrap reduction, and OEE initiatives while collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to resolve issues and optimize equipment performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting injection molding operations required
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, quality systems, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience leading teams in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with medical devices, life sciences, diagnostics, or consumables manufacturing
  • Knowledge of scientific injection molding principles
  • Experience with automation systems and robotics
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience with SAP, MES, or manufacturing systems
