Job Summary
Production Supervisor II responsible for achieving production plans through effective resource management, safety, and quality adherence. Manages training and onboarding, conducts 45/90/annual performance reviews, maintains attendance and training records, coordinates with other departments for materials and staffing, addresses employee issues, analyzes workflows to reduce costs, provides real-time feedback on performance, communicates progress to the Master Scheduler and manufacturing manager, administers work rules and safety policies, ensures up-to-date drawings/BOMs, utilizes QA resources for defects, and drives 5S/lean improvements. Requires 5+ years manufacturing experience, strong problem-solving skills, basic blueprint reading, proficiency in math, and experience with JD Edwards and Excel; welding experience (Tig/Mig) and related Preferred qualifications are a plus. Shift options include various 12-hour rotations (5:00 AM–5:00 PM / 5:00 PM–5:00 AM) and Friday–Sunday schedules. Location-specific duties at the Theodore, AL facility and collaboration across departments are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in related area
- Proven experience problem solving and navigating through ambiguity
- Team player mentality
- Understand and use basic blueprints
- Understand and use basic math
Desired Qualifications
- JD Edwards and Excel (Preferred)
- Tig and Mig welding experience (Preferred)
- High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
- Preferred High school diploma or GED
