Production Supervisor I

As a shift team leader of the spinning area, supervise approximately 15-30 employees on a 12-hour night shift (potential to rotate to daylight/rotating shifts), driving safety, productivity, reliability and quality improvements. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; training and evaluating employee performance; recognizing and addressing performance; maintaining workflow and resources; implementing cost reductions; coaching and counseling; enforcing policies and procedures; maintaining ISO standards and conducting Job Safety Analysis; fostering a Business Owner Culture; maintaining a safe, clean work environment; coordinating with the union per the collective bargaining agreement; and ensuring production efficiencies through continuous improvement while upholding site vision and guiding principles.
