Job Summary
Supervise the Worksurface Department on the 1st shift, directing day-to-day production operations and guiding a team of 20+ employees. Provide training on processes and equipment operation; enforce plant rules and time/attendance policies; review and approve attendance; assign tasks to Group Leads; lead continuous improvement efforts; coordinate with other manufacturing teams and Logistics to prioritize orders; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience (20+ people) in a fast-paced production environment
- Reading (English), writing (English) and math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication and human relations skills; bilingual literacy (Spanish and English) a plus but English proficiency required
- Strong work ethic, good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, ability to supervise employees in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
