Production Supervisor - Fresh **2nd Shift

Job Summary

Direct and coordinate daily activities of Fresh production personnel in alignment with production schedules and direction from the Production Manager. Partner with leads to monitor production flow, labor placement, line readiness, and schedule completion while observing packaging and grading operations to ensure product quality, food safety, and conformance to standards. Validate adherence to standard work processes, identify performance gaps impacting OEE, labor efficiency, quality, or waste, and review production schedules, work orders, and KPI data to evaluate progress against daily targets. Coach leads and employees on safety, quality, productivity, and standard work expectations while reinforcing PPE compliance and hazard reporting. Compile accurate production data, adjust staffing and line priorities in real time, and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Warehouse, and Planning teams to resolve issues and maintain flow.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of progressively responsible production experience
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience
  • demonstrated ability to direct teams
  • demonstrated ability to coach employees
  • demonstrated ability to manage daily production execution
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Oracle or similar production systems

Desired Qualifications

  • preferably in a manufacturing, food production, fresh produce, or packaging environment
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Working knowledge of standard work processes
  • Working knowledge of production scheduling
  • Working knowledge of quality control
  • Working knowledge of Fruit utilization
  • Working knowledge of waste reduction
  • Working knowledge of OEE
  • Experience using production systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Oracle
  • Experience using similar ERP/reporting systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
