Job Summary
Oversee plant production activities, supervise production and delegate assignments to meet KPIs; monitor and improve performance using lean tools, conduct regular lean audits, and ensure adherence to quality policies. Lead training, coaching and development of operations staff; manage talent, provide clear communication across all levels, and drive continuous improvement in production methods. Responsible for hiring and developing the operations team, addressing issues per policy, and maintaining productive, collaborative workplace culture. Requires strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Kronos, Workday, and FoxPro is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree in a related field is preferred or the combination of High School diploma with several years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of related experience in Manufacturing Supervision preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to lead.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership qualities, computer literacy
- Ability to supervise is essential for the candidate to perform successfully in this position.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Previous experience with Kronos; Workday; FoxPro considered an asset.
- Works with integrity and respect displaying a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
- Must be familiar with analyzing information.
- Good understanding of HR and Financial acumen is highly desired.
