Job Summary
Oversee production of multiple lines in a high-precision electronics manufacturing environment at the Penang site. Direct a team of engineers and operators to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets, evaluate performance, and drive improvements. Coach operators, troubleshoot operational issues, coordinate with maintenance and project teams, supervise scheduling based on product introductions and material supply, manage budgeting and expenses, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in production/manufacturing
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in SMT/electronics manufacturing
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to define and solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables in variable conditions
- Ability to work with data, generate reports, and present information to managers and customers
- Understanding of manufacturing standards and safety procedures
