Job Summary
Direct manufacturing operations for multiple technical production lines, managing a team of engineers and operators to meet volume, quality, and cost targets. Review daily plant performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and coach personnel to improve efficiency. Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction and equipment efficiency while initiating cost improvement and process development projects. Act as the principal interface between operations and maintenance, ensuring full compliance with safety guidelines and standards. Manage department expenses, train junior staff, and develop project proposals for operational enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong experience as leader
- Personnel management
- Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability)
- Knowledge in specifications and standards related to electronics
- Experience in the use of Floor shop systems
- Knowledge of Lean tools
- Experience in BAAN system (or SAP)
- Knowledge in SMT, Backend, BOX
- English is also a plus
