Job Summary
Provide day-to-day supervision and conduct employee performance evaluations for a production team in a manufacturing environment. Responsible for establishing performance standards, monitoring worker activities, orienting new employees, and coordinating with departmental heads. Demonstrate strong communication skills, reasoning ability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to safety and production standards while resolving personnel issues and analyzing operational reports.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of experience or education in a manufacturing-related field
- Clear and precise oral and written communication skills
- Ability to embrace continuous improvement
- Strong reasoning and independent decision making skills
- Ability to work with the business operating system and PCs (MS Office)
- Ability to attend and participate in required company meetings
- Must be a team player
