Production Supervisor, Fast Turn Block & Clonal Products (Weekday 2nd Shift)

Job Summary
Implement the production plan at a safe, efficient, and productive level by supervising associates during day-to-day tasks and managing the overall workflow of the Fast Turn Block and Clonal Products value stream. Oversee direct reports through hiring, training, performance management, and engagement while acting as a liaison between associates, other value streams, and external customers. Ensure successful planning of all shift resources, including approval and tracking of time off requests and timecards, and establish daily priorities with the scheduler. Facilitate Operations Leadership bases focused on accident-free operations, guaranteed quality, compliance culture, and team mindset. Work the weekday second shift (Monday-Thursday, 1:30pm-12:00am) on-site in Coralville, IA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree in science related field or equivalent by relevant experience of at least 5+ years
- Demonstrates previous leadership experience
- Experience in application of process improvement / lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual/Daily Management, Problem Solving
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to interact in a professional and leadership capacity with customers, associates, and all levels of management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make decisions independently
- Commitment to associate engagement as evidenced by associate visibility, troubleshooting with associates and removing barriers to success
- Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10-15 lbs of force frequently
- Must be available for weekday second shift, Monday-Thursday, 1:30pm - 12:00am
