Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day donation and production operations to meet merchandise production goals, ensuring donations are processed expediently from the donation door to the sales floor while minimizing waste. Conduct quality checks on merchandise before placing it on the sales floor and coordinate dock efforts by assigning staff within the production and transportation areas. Supervise Production Associates by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results, and resolving performance issues to promote productivity. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment by upholding safe work practices, observing hazards, and assisting in safety training. Prepare reports by collecting, documenting, and summarizing information, and complete projects by planning, organizing, and monitoring assignments. Communicate needs with store management to ensure production and sales goals are met.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate/GED equivalency preferred
  • Minimum 1 year production or warehouse experience
  • Working knowledge of material handling practices
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with dock equipment
  • Lifting and handling techniques
  • Basic math skills for reports, documentation, etc.
  • Ability to work and lead in a team environment
  • Ability to carry out instructions
  • Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job
  • Evergreen Goodwill Forklift certification optional, must meet eligibility requirements
  • Able to lift and carry up to 30 - 40 pounds
  • Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; standing for long periods, frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain)
  • Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills
