Job Summary
Train and manage employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity while ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are followed. Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to efficiently utilize departmental policies and maintain standards for safety and cost efficiency. Manage employee performance through positive and corrective feedback, investigate areas for quality improvement and yield control, and promote pro-active communication throughout the crew. This role requires 1+ years of supervisory experience, leadership over 20 employees, and the ability to work assigned hours including occasional weekends. Bilingual candidates in English/Spanish are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years of previous Supervisory experience
- Previous leadership skills with 20 or more employees
- Effective communication both orally and in writing
- Capable of independent decision making
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must be able to work assigned hours/days - including occasional weekends - as required
- High School Diploma/GED
Desired Qualifications
- Poultry or food industry experience a plus
- College Degree in related field preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
