Job Summary
Monitor line performance, quality, costs, and safety to ensure standards are met, initiating corrective actions when necessary. Direct and develop direct reports through empowerment and on-the-job assignments while resolving technical problems, scheduling conflicts, and equipment issues. Ensure all standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices are followed, enforce a safe work environment, and coordinate daily production by placing workers effectively. Conduct hourly line checks, administer expectations, and hold daily or weekly training meetings for safety and new procedures. Track daily attendance using Kronos Timekeeper and complete shift summaries. Operate the 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with some Friday trainings.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of Supervisory or leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail Oriented
- Competent in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Desired Qualifications
- College Degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic CI tools and lean manufacturing principles a plus
- Bi-lingual English and Spanish (preferred)
