Job Summary
Production Supervisor for 2nd Shift in Orlando, FL, onsite at LightPath Technologies. Oversees hourly staff, monitors workflow, ensures quality and timely delivery, and drives cost reduction and process optimization. Responsibilities include supervising staff, communicating job expectations, maintaining production workflows, implementing standard procedures, operating Mini Mill and/or CNC Generator, upholding safety and 5S, enforcing policies, analyzing data to identify issues, developing training programs, and coaching employees. Qualifications require an associate degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent experience (10+ years acceptable), MIL specs/ITAR/ISO/ANSI knowledge, US-work eligibility, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, English fluency, and strong analytical and ERP/manufacturing software skills.
Required Qualifications
- A.A or A.S from two (2) year college or university or a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Expertise in MIL specs, ITAR regulations, ISO and ANSI specifications
- Must be authorized to work and reside in the US and must be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government to confirm with but not limited to U.S. export control regulations (ITAR)
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and risk of radiation
- Able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Must be able to work both independently and in group problem solving situations
- Proficient at using manufacturing software, ERP Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the internet
